AN innovation lab will be set up at Shenzhen Middle School to cultivate student talents, according to an agreement signed between the school and Shenzhen University on Tuesday.
The joint lab will focus on researches on drone sensors, driverless automated vehicles and big data for an intelligent city. Shenzhen University will guide the research and curricula design.
Prior to this agreement, Shenzhen Middle School had cooperated with enterprises and three universities to jointly build 10 innovation experience centers and innovation labs, respectively.
A DRIVER surnamed Wu was detained for 15 days and fined 20,000 yuan (US$3,187) for fleeing the scene of an accident he caused. The accident injured a courier in Pingdi, Longgang District, last week.
The courier was hit by a car driven by Wu as he turned left. The courier was only slightly injured thanks to his helmet.
Wu later surrendered to police for investigation after police contacted the car’s owner, Shenzhen Jinjian Engineering Co.
LI LEI, former director with the energy and recycle economy department of Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission was prosecuted for allegedly taking 7.37 million yuan in bribes, the prosecutors said.
Between 2006 and 2017, Li allegedly took 7.37 million yuan in bribes by abusing his power to help multiple companies apply for government subsidies and receive government investments while working at the commission.
